• How long is processing?

  Processing is 2-3 weeks. You can pay for rush and that makes sure your bat is shipped in 1-1.5 weeks. Rush is $30 per bat.

  Why is BakerBatz bats made only with Maple Wood.Maple wood is the hardest wood a player can ask for. Birch wood is softer than maple and a little harder than ash. With ash you only have a short period to use that bat before it splinters. Maple bats are the best bats in the game.

• How do we know we are getting the best wood in the game?

  If you notice we don’t have the same modes for different prices. We do not have any other wood selection than our pro grade wood. We make sure the bats we make for youth players are made from the same wood our pro guys swing.

• Can I choose a different color than what is selected on the site?

  Not at this time. We are adding more and more colors as we go If you see a bat or fungo that does not have a color that is on our site. Most likely they are a partner with BakerBatz.

• Why split maple vs saw maple

  When wood is hand-split, it naturally follows the tangential grain of the wood, rather than forcing the cut through the tangential grain with a saw. Splitting the wood creates stronger billets, which in turn strengthening the bat and all but remove the chance of a slope of grain failure.
